A 1991 Cameronbridge single grain whisky from indie bottler Douglas Laing, matured in a single refill hogshead for 29 years, before being bottled in October 2020 as part of its Old Particular series. Aromas of oak spice, rich mocha and toasted brioche fill the nose, complemented by notes of Crème Brulee, honey, tobacco and vanilla throughout the palate.
NOSE - An initial sweetness arises with vanilla, toffee and heather honey, a little fruit notes keeps appearing with hazelnut juice and hints of spices.
PALATE - A little more spice appears in the form of cinnamon and ginger before a tangy bitter orange peel note pops in along with creme Brule coated with Muscovado Sugar.
