Highlight
A deliciously sweet 10 year old BenRiach single malt, independently bottled by Douglas Laing for the Old Particular range. This one was distilled in December 2008 and left to age in a refill hogshead until December 2018, when it was bottled at 48.4% ABV with an outturn of 370 bottles.
NOSE - Immediately a hit of blueberries, then come barley, golden syrup and brioche.
TASTE - Thick - buttered gingerbread, citrus fruits and a sweet gristy character.
FINISH - Spice lingers long, coupled with vanilla custard and marmalade (CSL).
