GlenGrant The Majors Reserve is the youngest ( NAS ) and most easy drinking single malt in the Glengrant Range. It displays a light golden colour with a soft bouquet of delicate apple note. This superb Single Malt offers a fresh and vanilla palate with a slightly dry and hazelnut finish.
The 10 Year Old malt brings an added intensity to Glen Grant’s familiar orchard fruits. It is golden in colour and lingers in the mouth with a soft, almond finish.
Glen Grant’s 18 Year Old variant is rich and floral on the palate; its oaky overtones combined with baking spices, deliver the delicate aroma of malted caramel, with a sweet nutty finish. Our 18 Year Old has been awarded not just one or two, but three honours at the industry’s most prestigious Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible 2017 awards.
A rather stunning well-sherried single malt from GlenDronach. Distilled in 1993, the whisky was laid to rest in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks. Twenty-five glorious GlenDronach years passed, then master blender Dr. Rachel Barrie selected the casks to create this expression, which has been bottled at 48.2% ABV. The Spanish oak in which it rested has imparted a rich golden hue to the liquid - and, of course, an exceptional flavour profile.
GLENDRONACH Cask Strength Batch 8. The GlenDronach distillery is pleased to announce the eighth release of its Cask Strength Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, matured for ten years in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucía. This expression offers connoisseurs a deeper insight into the distillery’s signature profile, by bottling the whisky at its natural strength of 61%, to bring the full depth of maturation in Spanish oak casks.
With each unique cask strength release, Master Blender Dr. Rachel Barrie selects the perfect marriage of sherry casks before bottling at cask strength and without chill filtration, as was the custom when The GlenDronach distillery was established in 1826. As with all of The GlenDronach expressions, the rich natural colour is drawn from the Spanish oak in which it rests.
The GlenDronach 12 Year Old, epitomises our unyielding dedication to the mastery of our craft. Matured in fine Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucía in Spain, this richly sherried Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky presents smooth vanilla, soft fruits and a memorably long, nutty finish, for which it has become renowned. The expression is bottled at 43%, non-chill filtered and natural in colour.
The seventh release of Glendronach Cask strength, going for the distillery's classic combination of PX and oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 57.9%, it's an intensely flavoured whisky with stacks of dried fruit and spice – exactly what Glendronach fans clamour for.
In contrast to the traditional, non-peated character of the GlenDronach, this particular whisky has, unusually, been distilled using peated malted barley. The GlenDronach ‘Peated’ pays homage to the peat historically used to dry the malted barley in the traditional floor matlings during the early days of the distillery. The subtle peated notes in this intriguing expression complement the classic GlenDronach Highland character and the rich sherry notes drawn from the wood.
The Tomatin 12 Year Old is smooth and silky, having been matured in traditional Scotch Whisky, ex-Bourbon and ex-Spanish Sherry casks. A rich, fruity aroma is the prelude to sweet flavours of ripe apples, pears and a subtle hint of nut before the long, pleasantly oily finish.
The Tomatin 14 Year Old is soft, smooth and sweet, benefiting from its time spent in Tawny Port casks which previously held port for around 50 years. Rich but balanced aromas of red berries, sweet honey and rich toffee develop into aspects of light fruits and nuts on the palate and an abiding finish of smooth fruit salad.
The Tomatin 18 Year Old is a truly world class malt. Matured in traditional oak casks and first fill Oloroso Sherry butts, honey and soft oak flavours develop into a hint of dark chocolate with a citrus bite before a sustained sweet and slightly dry finish.
