The 2020 release of Douglas Laing's annual Big Peat Christmas Edition Islay blended malt is the 10th edition of this festive whisky. Aromas of cedar, barbecued meat and green apple fill the nose, complemented by notes of peppercorn, cool mint and billowing smoke throughout the palate.
NOSE - A burst of charcoal meets crashing waves and burnt citrus
TASTE - An ashy avalanche of peat smoke coupled with sea air, black pepper and damp earth
FINISH - Satisfyingly long with lingering smoke and a hint of sweetness
